Nintendo switch mods installieren

I aimed to expand the definition of a “Randomizer” for this legendary game... thanks to @Starwarsfan2099 who fixed it in #93.

  • I improved the code about images, it is now limited to 8 but I will improve this in the future.
  • v2.1.0

    • A lot of translations have been added/updated: Chinese by @sskyNS, Italian by @Gabriele73, and Turkish by @MYusufY.
    • Implemented GameBanana's categories.
    • Added support for exefs and exefs_patches mod files.
    • Fixed an issue with Super Smash Bros mods.
    • Fixed unexpected crashes (#58, #56, #67, #70).
    • Removed SSL verification to prevent crashes when the hour isn't synced.
    • Smoother loading bar.
    • Removed the header when you're previewing a mod.
    • Switched from cmake to xmake (reduced the size from 10MB to 5MB).

    v2.0.0

    • Rewrote the app using Borealis.
    • Transitioned to a new build tool: CMake.
    • Fixed #46 and #39.
    • Added a new page to preview the mod.
    • Implemented detection to check if a mod is compatible with SimpleModDownloader (in reality, I check if there's a romfs folder in the archive, as permitted by the GameBanana API).
    • Added a fix to prevent a crash that occurred when the mod contained special characters.
    • Reduced loading times and implemented multi-threading for improved performance.

    v1.1.0

    • Adds ARCropolis (Smash Bros mods) support compatibility (huge thanks to @Starwarsfan2099).
    • Adds RAR support (finally); libarchive is updated to support it.
    • Adds one icon on the top left for all game views.
    • Now, when you download a mod, you go back to the game view instead of the main view (thanks @Derro8).
    • Improves the URL formatting using curl_easy_escape; it fixes #22 and #23.
    • Adds detection when the SD is full and crashes the app.
    • When you use "B" on image view, it goes to the older image.

Randomized enemy drops are included too.

Launch the homebrew from the homebrew launcher. Volcano Eldin), making it cold (e.g. this was only the basic part. The chosen option can be reverted.

      Randomizer - Time:
The time will change on the fly which results in changing of weather, lighting and enemy behaviour (e.g.

This cycle will trigger randomly and picks one of many, many options that will change your game on the fly.

      Mod is ToS-conform.

E.g. from normal overworld to divine beast.

      Randomizer - BGM:
Can activate several BGM on the overworld.

The longer the Randomizer Cycle does not trigger / choose an option, the higher the chance gets which results in a 100% chance eventually. The Cycle will never stop so there are basically unlimited permutations and combinations, additionally to the randomly placed enemies which I cannot calculate.

      Download (Wii U)

      Download (Switch)

SimpleModDownloader is a Switch homebrew that allows you to download mod directly on your console, based on the extensive gamebanana database.

So I built a new system which I named “The Randomizer Cycle”. There are multiple options, but I’m going to list these in personal ranking order

    1. Citron – Supports over 1,500 Nintendo Switch Games which 85% are categorized as currently playable and 60% perfectly playable
    2. Yuzu – Open source emulator that you can use on Windows, Android, and Linux
    3. RyujinX – One of the older Emulators that got lawsuit by Nintendo & has stopped development (May have issues with newer games potentially)

Setting Up Directories and Installing the Mods

After you have downloaded the emulators and have unzipped them, I recommend creating a custom Documents folder for the actual Switch games, which will be the directory C:\Users\Putachi\Documents\Switch-Em, something like this, basically.

In other scenarios, it might have folders named like “Graphics” or something akin to that, don’t need to pay attention to this that much long as there aren’t any viruses included lol.

    • File formats for the mods can be things like PCHTXT, TXT, PNG, or PAC file, and that is all dependent on what type of mods you are downloading (graphical, FPS, etc.)
    • Now, for the final set,p you have to close this folder and go back to your Yuzu / Citron emulator and choose the game again and choose “Properties”

Now we are literally in the last step here, where we can toggle on/off the mods we want to use.

This issue was caused by a path change in SimpleModManager.

  • Addition of Simplified Chinese translation (thanks JerryWn12).
  • Addition of Japanese translation (thanks iGlitch).
  • Addition of Romanian translation (thanks ExFabian).
  • Addition of Brazilian Portuguese translation (thanks pixeldeadlock).
  • Addition of a tab that allows updating the app directly from within it.
  • Removed .rar format from the supported list as it is not supported.
  • "/" is now removed from the mod names during installation to avoid crashes.
  • All games are now displayed in English to ensure compatibility with the GameBanana API search.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the app to crash when the search query contained fewer than 3 characters.
  • v1.0.0
